The Super Mario Bros. Movie will get a final trailer in its own Nintendo Direct
Nintendo has confirmed that there’ll be a new Nintendo Direct very soon, but it’ll be entirely focused on the Super Mario Bros. Movie with no video game related news.
The animated film adaptation starring video game’s most popular plumber is only a few months away from hitting theater screens around the world. But before that can happen, The Super Mario Bros. Movie has one more trailer to show off. As was announced by Nintendo themselves in social media, this upcoming final look will be revealed for everyone to see during a special Nintendo Direct, set to happen on Thursday, March 9.
Nintendo also stated that this time, the Nintendo Direct will be 100% focused on the upcoming movie, which means that it will not contain any sort of video game related information or announcement. At least they’re warning fans up front.

At what time will the Super Mario Bros. Movie Nintendo Direct happen?
As is usual, this upcoming live stream will be available through Nintendo’s YouTube channel. They’ve only specified one timezone, so here’s when it should happen at other major time zones of the US:
- 2:00 p.m. Pacific
- 4:00 p.m. Central
- 5:00 p.m. Eastern
The Super Mario Bros. Movie will release in movie theaters around the world on April 7, 2023.
