Elden Ring falls under the Hogwarts Legacy spell thanks to a mod

Hogwarts Legacy invades the world of Elden Ring with powerful wands and flying brooms thanks to a team of amazing modders who decided to unite the two games

Elden Ring falls under the Hogwarts Legacy spell thanks to a mod

Magic runs through the world of the Elden Ring. The video game developed by FromSoftware surrenders to the enchantment of Garden of Eyes, a team of modders that has transformed the game into Hogwarts Legacy. The mod, available on PC, shows the protagonist as if he were Harry Potter himself. Wand in hand, the character travels the vast places of the map and fights against huge creatures.

As can be seen in the video, available just below these lines, the modders have also managed to get the protagonist to fly on a broom. From the heights, the sorcerer is able to move quickly, but also to fight from a unique perspective. As Obi-Wan Kenobi would say, “I have the high ground!”.

This mod will allow for spellslinging

The Hogwarts Legacy-inspired mod not only brings with it the ability to use a flying broom, but also implements various spells such as Accio or Confringo, which attracts objects and launches bolts of fire respectively. As if that were not enough, players will be able to cast the unforgivable curses: Avada Kedavra and Cruciatus. Murder and torture.

“The most difficult part was integrating the mechanics of the Flying Broomsticks,,” a Garden of Eyes member explained to Kotaku. “Elden Ring still has some limitations in regards to animation modding; as the tools to mod the game are community-made and still being constantly improved and updated. So we had to do some technical workarounds in order to achieve the effect of properly riding a flying broom, and make it actually function as one.”

Hogwarts Legacy is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. Elden Ring, which has already sold 20 million units, was launched last year on these same platforms, but also on PS4 and Xbox One. It has become one of the most successful and most awarded titles in history.
