One Piece reveals Zoro's family tree and shows that Eichiiro Oda doesn't like the swordsman

Oda has caused another chaos. On the occasion of this week's hiatus, the author of One Piece has held a new session of Questions and Answers (better known as SBS, acronym of "Shitsumon o Boshuu Suru", or what is the same, "I take questions") and cleared up one of the great unknowns of the series in the last place where we would have expected it. We are talking about Zoro's family tree, which he introduced with a simple picture.

After the mess of the Wano arc, where we all assumed that we would get some news about Zoro's past and there was nothing at all, Oda pretends not to have played with our feelings with references to Ryuma and winks at Ushimaru. The author has asked to be left alone with the subject once and for all and has assured that he does not intend to delve much deeper into the swordsman's history during the rest of the series. That's why he used the SBS to get it out of the way.

Most shockingly of all, there were things in his family tree that would have been worth seeing in the manga, such as the fact that Zoro is actually a descendant of the Shimotsuki clan. His ancestors belonged to Wano and were followers of the person who forged Enma, his last and most powerful sword. In fact, Kuina, the person who marked the life of the Moss Head, the young girl to whom Zoro promised to become the best swordsman in the world, was also a descendant of the Shimotsuki. Couldn't Oda really have put a little more effort into Wano, or at least gone back to the character's past after the time jump?

Here is the scene of the crime. Everything Oda has to tell about Zoro's past before the end of One Piece. Let's hope the Mangaka changes his mind:
