Niantic has already revealed the details of the March 2023 Community Day in Pokémon GO, which will feature Slowpoke and Galarian Slowpoke and their respective evolutionary lines.
When is the March 2023 Pokémon GO Community Day? How can I participate?
March Community Day 2023 in Pokémon GO will take place on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Slowpoke and Galarian Slowpoke are the featured Pokémon, and will appear more frequently as wild Pokémon. And if we're lucky, they might be Shiny.
Also available during this period is the special research story, Field Notes: Slow and Slower, which costs US$1.00 (or the equivalent in your local currency). This Special Research Story introduces new quests with their own rewards.
Slowpoke and Galarian Slowpoke themed stickers and items will also be available in the in-game store during this mini-event.
Featured attack during the March 2023 Community Day on Pokémon GO
On Community Day in March 2023, all Slowpokes and Galarian Slowpokes that evolve into Slowbros, Slowkings, Galarian Slowbros, and Galarian Slowkings will learn Charged Attack Surf.
- Surf (Charged Attack) - Trainer Battles: 65 power.
- Surf (Charged Attack) - Gyms and raids: 65 power.
Pokémon GO March 2023 Community Day Event Bonus
These are all the bonuses for the event:
- 3× XP for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokemon.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust.
Four-Star Raid by Slowpoke and Galarian Slowpoke during the March Community Day on Pokémon GO
On March 18, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, there will be four-star raids for Slowpoke and Galarian Slowpoke. This means that from the end of the March 2023 Community Day schedule until five hours later, these Pokémon will be available in Four-Star Raids.
If we manage to defeat a Galar Slowpoke or Slpwpoke in one of these raids, more Slowpoke/Galar Slowpoke will appear for 30 minutes around the gym where the raid took place.
Timed and Field Investigations during the March 2023 Community Day in Pokémon GO.
During Community Day on March 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Pokémon GO will feature the special Slowpoke and Galarian Slowpoke research called Slow and Slower.
In addition, there will be a new Field Research available during this Community Day that will allow us to earn rewards such as King's Rocks, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and more.
