Hogwarts Legacy delays the launch of the PS4 and Xbox One versions
Players on the past generation of consoles will have to continue waiting, as WB Games has just announced a delay for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Hogwarts Legacy.
Hogwarts Legacy is still far from the consoles of the last generation. The success of Warner Bros continues to take more time to deliver a version that lives up to expectations. Now the development team expects to launch on May 5 on PS4 and Xbox One.
“We’re overwhelmed with gratitude for the response to Hogwarts Legacy from fans around the globe,” says the message on the official Twitter account of the game. “The team is working hard to deliver the best possible experience on all platforms and we need more time to do this.” Originally, it was expected that these versions of the title would release on April 4.
In addition to these, there is still a third release incoming: Nintendo Switch will receive a port that maintains its release date of July 25, almost three months after those discussed in this piece.
Hogwarts Legacy, "A magical game that traps us in its spell"
With those words we started our review of Hogwarts Legacy, where it received a score of 8.5 out of 10. In the text, we said that it is "the best game set in the Harry Potter universe."
“The adventure is articulated within an open world of points of interest, but the stories that are told give the world cohesion, the characters, and the protagonist themselves. It is true that there are no moral decisions as such, but the player can shape the personality of their character through dialogues,” we explained.
But not everything is positive. For example, "technical polishing fails, somewhat irregular, as well as some mechanics such as stealth or fades to black". The open world also has problems due to its structure, already recognized from the bases of the genre. You can read the full text at this link. Remember that it can already be purchased on PS5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.
