Destiny 2 Lightfall: date, time, and all the details of the Root of Nightmares Raid
We’ll tell you everything you need to know to not miss out on the launch of Root of Nightmares, Destiny 2: Lightfall’s first raid for the expansion that’ll send the guardians deeper than ever.
Destiny 2: Lightfall releases in its second week one of the most relevant contents of the new expansion. Root of Nightmares will be the raid in which squads from around the world will seek to complete the greatest challenge in the entire game so far. It will open up on March 10 at 8:30 AM (PT).
As usual, during the first 48 hours, the competition mode will be active. All Fireteams that can complete it within that time will receive exclusive rewards and access to limited items in the Shop. Bungie will also hold a Twitch Rivals event where the first six players to complete it will be sought. What counts towards this victory? Well, the team would need to complete all the encounters, open the last chest, and return to orbit before the rest of the participants.
Player Power will be limited to 1780, that is, 20 points below the difficulty of the encounters. You will need some of the best gear available to be able to overcome these obstacles. You will have until Sunday 12 at midnight to play the raid in this mode. If you follow them on Twitch you will also receive a special emblem after spending two hours watching streams that opt for Twitch Drops.
