Capcom

Resident Evil 4 Remake can now be pre-loaded on PS4, PS5, and Xbox

Capcom is ready for the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake, and is now allowing players to download the game files ahead of its launch day so they can play as soon as it's out.

Update:
Resident Evil 4 Remake can now be pre-loaded on PS4, PS5, and Xbox

There are only a few days left before we relive Leon S. Kennedy’s nightmare in the gloomy village in deep Spain. Resident Evil 4 Remake brings back the classic, although updated and improved for current systems. Capcom's production goes beyond the graphic changes and offers new mechanics and behavior of the enemies, as well as other playable novelties. From now on, players who have purchased it have the possibility to pre-download it on PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X / S.

While the PlayStation 4 version occupies 30.93 GB, the PlayStation 5 version amounts to 58.03 GB. The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S version is approximately 67 GB.

The game can be tested thanks to the demo

For those undecided or those who want to enter the nightmare a few days before its launch, they can do so through the demo, which can be downloaded on all platforms. This test allows us to enjoy the first few minutes of the adventure, up until the first encounter with the man with the chainsaw. This iconic moment in the village is maintained in the remake, so Leon will have to run from this powerful enraged villager (and everyone else, by the way). Will he keep his head or leave it for him along the way?

Resident Evil 4 Remake will unleash horror on March 24 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. According to Metacritic, it is the best reviewed title of the franchise, below original games like Resident Evil: Code Veronica and the original Resident Evil 4.
