Elden Ring now has ray tracing, gets ready for the expansion with update 1.09
Elden Ring has just been updated to version 1.09 with dozens of adjustments, balancing, and a small gift by From Software: looking better than ever with Ray Tracing.
We have a new patch for the Lands Between! Elden Ring has started the day with update 1.09 at its doors and among its most outstanding novelties is the inclusion of ray tracing. From Software promised to give us reflections and shine for our eyes, and although it has taken a long time(it has been more than a year), the developer has finally delivered. Plus it does it right at the gates of its first expansion, Shadow of Erdtree, and coinciding with the game's first anniversary, in which it has also revealed some fun information, such as the 5 most difficult bosses in the game, the leading causes of death (more than 30% are not at enemy hands!) and the top 5 spells and top 5 enchantments that were most used by tarnished.
You can see all the tweaks and changes from update 1.09 through this link, and as for ray tracing, remember that it is only for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X (no Series S). In addition, From Software warns that it can affect framerate and resolution in-game (I'm sure it won't take us long to see comparisons),also sharing the minimum and recommended requirements to be able to enjoy it on PC:
