Sony was the best video game publishers of 2022 according to Metacritic

Like every year, Metacritic has just made official the list of the best video game publishers of the previous year, and as always, the ranking is full of surprises. There are things like that, despite having the GOTY in its catalog (Elden Ring), Bandai Namco does not go beyond the 25th position, or that Xbox Game Studios, with all that it is, has not met the minimum to enter (5 or more published games). Microsoft goes from dominating in 2021 to missing. From heaven to hell. There are also surprises (for the better) with companies like Paradox and Focus, others like Annapurna and Devolver reaffirm the quality and guarantee of their signature, Nintendo and Capcom manage to settle in the top ten while showing their health, and there are some solid failures like THQ (39), Ubisoft (33) and Square Enix (23).
