A Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle fan? We’ve got some very good news for you
With a confirmed runtime of 2 hours and 35 minutes, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is set to deliver a cinematic experience as epic as its source material.

If you thought 'Mugen Train’ was ambitious, 'Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’ is about to raise the bar. According to Anime TV, the first film in the trilogy will clock in at a massive 2 hours and 35 minutes, making it one of the longest anime movies ever released.
That runtime puts it just behind 'In This Corner (and Other Corners) of the World’ (2 hours, 48 minutes), and well ahead of 'Mugen Train’ (1 hour, 57 minutes). It’s a bold move, but one that reflects the scale of the story being told.
What the movie covers
‘Infinity Castle’ picks up immediately after the events of 'Demon Slayer’ Season 4 and the Hashira Training Arc. It adapts the Infinity Castle and Sunrise Countdown arcs from the manga, which include some of the most intense and emotional battles in the entire series.
Expect to see:
- Shinobu vs. Doma
- Zenitsu vs. Kaigaku
- Tanjiro and Giyu vs. Akaza
- The beginning of the final confrontation with Muzan Kibutsuji
When and where to watch
- Japan release: July 18, 2025
- U.S. theatrical release: September 12, 2025
- Distributor: Crunchyroll, with a global rollout planned
This isn’t just another anime movie, it’s the beginning of the end for one of the most beloved shonen series of the decade. With a trilogy format, extended runtime, and Ufotable’s signature animation quality, ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Castle’ is poised to be a landmark moment in anime cinema.
