‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’, the next Game of Thrones spin-off, is bringing completely new faces to the franchise

A pair of completely fresh faces are set to star in the upcoming Game of Thrones spin-off, “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms”.

The next spin-off of ‘Game of Thrones’ comes to light again to confirm its leading couple. ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight’ will feature two actors who are relatively unknown to the general public. In the role of Dunk, the titular Hedge Knight, will be Peter Claffey, while Dexter Sol Ansell will take the role of Egg. Both will be in charge of transferring one of the lesser known works set in Westeros to the small screen. You won’t have to wait long to see it: it’s set to take the baton from ‘House of the Dragon’ at the end of 2025.

The trajectory of the protagonists of the new ‘Game of Thrones’ spin-off in detail

Probably neither of the two names will be familiar to many. Claffey’s career began in rugby. Upon retiring, he began to participate in acting projects that led to two Apple TV series: ‘Bad Sisters’ (2022) and ‘Wreck’ (2022), the latter spanning 12 episodes that extend to the current year. In just a few years he has managed to establish himself in some high-profile projects.

Regarding Dexter Sol, his trajectory is quite different. He is one of the child prodigies on British television in recent times. His career began at no less than 4 years old in the series ‘Emmerdale Farm’ (2019), where he worked on 14 episodes. It would be followed by ‘The Midwich Cuckoos’ (2022), ‘Christmas on Mistletoe Farm’ (2022), ‘The Moor’ (2023) and ‘Hullraisers’ (2023). Regular moviegoers will be familiar with him for playing young Coriolanus in ‘The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’. At ten years old he will experience what it feels like to be a squire in the ‘Game of Thrones’ universe.
