A LEGO set inspired by the original PlayStation is reportedly on the way, according to new leaks
Another console would be added to the product line focused on video gamers during the holiday season.

Leaks may be commonplace in most industries, especially technology and video games, but the toy industry is not far behind. According to recent leaks, LEGO is reportedly working on a brick version of one of the most beloved consoles in the world of video games: the first PlayStation.
According to user ‘Lego Minecraft Goat’, who has a decent track record with previous leaks, this new set will be released in December and will be aimed at “adult collectors, like the other LEGO themed sets” (referring to existing sets based on video game consoles).
Among the details revealed, this new set would include 1,911 blocks to build the console and a controller, and its potential price would be $159.99. Contrary to what many people think, this would not be the first PlayStation product to join the LEGO family, as two sets based on the Horizon universe were previously released (one featuring the Tallneck from Horizon Forbidden West and another for Lego Horizon Adventures).

LEGO and video games, an always-welcome collaboration
Considering that previous sets such as LEGO’s NES has 2,646 pieces and the Atari 2600 has a total of 2,532 pieces, it could be considered a “more modest” version in the world of collecting, while still retaining the magic that characterizes these blocks that have given us so much joy over the years.
