- Supernatural abilities, possibly tied to ancient artifacts.
- A fear system, where enemies react dynamically to Elsa’s powers.
Gameplay: stealth, possession, and survival mechanics
Unlike recent open-world entries, Hexe may have a more focused, narrative-driven structure, emphasizing stealth and survival. Some leaked gameplay details include:
- Possession mechanics – Elsa can control animals, including cats, to evade enemies.
- Dynamic enemy reactions – Soldiers will fear and hunt Elsa, making stealth more crucial than ever.
- Limited combat – Unlike traditional Assassin’s Creed protagonists, Elsa may rely more on magic and deception than direct combat.
Release window and platforms
Ubisoft has yet to announce an official release date, but reports suggest Hexe is expected to launch after Assassin’s Creed Shadows, possibly in 2026. The game will be part of Assassin’s Creed Infinity, Ubisoft’s evolving Animus hub for future AC titles.
