Update:

Sand Land, the video game based on the work of Akira Toriyama, has released an official launch trailer in which the date on which the title will be released has been revealed. It will be April 26, 2024, and the game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

In this new trailer, we are shown a graphic style that matches perfectly with Toriyama’s style and that immerses us in a world in crisis in which water is under the control of a tyrant king. Given what is happening, Rao, a sheriff, and Beezlebub, the prince of demons, will form an expedition party to find a legendary place that is said to have a huge water source. An open-world action and adventure title that arrives at a notable moment, for this work was originally published in 2000, and now in 2024 it is completely topical again.

‘Sand Land’ also stands out in the world of animation

The year 2024 is highlighted for Akira Toriyama and all his followers, and along with the long-awaited premiere of ‘Dragon Ball Daima’, ‘Sand Land’ will also arrive in series form. Released in Japan as a film on August 18, 2023, it will arrive this coming spring in Hulu with unseen material and in a new format that will expand the story seen in the film.

Fans of ‘Sand Land’ are in luck, and along with the video game it is an outstanding year for this work by Toriyama. The story with demonic characters in a desert world that has water as its greatest treasure wants to stand out in a big way after the success that the film had in theaters in Japan.
