‘Alien: Earth’ Season 2 is officially happening and welcomes two big stars from ‘Game of Thrones’
The series has begun filming in London.
‘Alien: Earth’ will continue its story. This had already been officially confirmed, but the series is now taking the next step. According to The Hollywood Reporter, production has begun filming its second season in London. The cast is expanding to include new faces, among them two actors from ‘Game of Thrones.’
Jerome Flynn played the mercenary Bronn in ‘Game of Thrones,’ a key character linked to the Lannisters. Interestingly, he served under Tyrion Lannister, so the actor will be reunited with Peter Dinklage, who is also part of the cast of ‘Alien: Earth.’
The Cast of ‘Alien: Earth’ Season 2
Tracey Ullman and Sam Spruell will also join showrunner Noah Hawley (‘Fargo’). They will join familiar faces such as Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Babou Ceesay, Samuel Blenkin, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Adrian Edmondson, David Rysdahl, Moe Bar-El, and Sandra Yi Sencindiver.
The first season of ‘Alien: Earth’ ended on a cliffhanger, setting the stage for a second season, although the renewal took a while to be announced: “This chapter is closed, but Yutani troops are landing,” Hawley told The Hollywood Reporter. “These children have no idea what’s coming. The last line of, ‘Now we rule’ is triumphant and uplifting. But cut to 10 minutes later … what is going to be happening?”
