WhatsApp, the world’s most popular instant messaging application, is gearing up for a complete redesign. Meta wants WhatsApp to be familiar and easy to navigate, and the company itself says that its principles are that the instant messaging application is fresh, accessible, and simple. In some cases, these new features have been arriving little by little, and among them is the integration of AI into an application used daily and constantly by millions of people around the world.

Steadily and without making much noise, WhatsApp has been introducing several new features in recent months, gradually surprising its millions of users. Among these additions, some stand out, such as the lower navigation bar on Android devices in iOS style or the green color that replaces the blue in some buttons. Changes that gradually aim at a unification of design between Android and iOS, something that is getting closer and closer.
