Apple announces Vision Pro headset launch date and price
The time has come for Apple’s latest device, the Apple Vision Pro, to be available to users starting with its pre-order. Pricing and release date, here.
As previously announced, the day has come for many Apple fans. After being announced 7 months ago at Worldwide Developers Conference, the Vision Pro is now available for pre-order in the United States.
Apple Vision Pro, release date and prices
Pre-sales for Apple’s new device began on Thursday, January 18, with a release date of February 2, with the following streaming services available. The device is Apple’s latest and is the company’s first product in a new category since the launch of the Apple Watch in 2015.
As for the price, we already knew that the device would be out of range for many people’s wallets. The device will come in three different models, depending mostly on the storage size, with the 256GB model costing $3499, the 512GB model costing $3699, and the 1TB model costing $3899. All three models come with a 12-month financing plan. The $3,499 model costs $291.58 a month with that option.
It is curious that to pre-order, it is necessary to have an iPhone or iPad device with FaceID, since the first step is to measure our head “to find your fit”. ZEISS Optical Inserts, required to use prescription lenses inside the Vision Pro, are sold separately at $149.
