Asmongold reveals his earnings on Kick and compares them to Twitch: “This number would be twice as high”

Asmongold reveals a surprising disparity in revenue between Twitch and Kick.

Update:

The streaming landscape is changing, and Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt just sparked the conversation by revealing how much he earns on Twitch versus Kick. The popular content creator, known for his straightforward style, live-streamed the revenue he made on both platforms over the last month, and the comparison surprised everyone.

The Scales Tilt in Kick’s Favor

On Twitch, where he streamed more than 166 hours and had more than 11,200 active subscribers, Asmongold generated around $31,100. Not an insignificant figure. However, on Kick, with only 888 subscribers and much less airtime, it earned no less than $294,000. The difference is so great that it seems unreal: almost ten times more income with less effort and less audience.

This is not the first time Asmongold has praised Kick. In June, he revealed that two streams on the platform earned him $36,910, more than an entire month on Twitch, and that’s not counting subscription revenue.

What’s the key? Kick offers a much more favorable model for creators: 95% of the subscription revenue goes directly to the streamer, plus there are additional payments for interaction and viewership. Asmongold clarified that this amount of almost $300,000 was obtained without showing ads or signing exclusivity. In fact, he assured that he could double it if he streamed only on Kick.

He also explained that his income on Twitch is lower because he avoids ads on his “Zackrawrr” channel. Still, the huge difference has generated debate among fans and creators. For now, Asmongold continues on both platforms, but these kinds of figures point to a future where Kick could become the top choice for streamers looking for better revenue.
