Assassin’s Creed Mirage: how long does it take to complete the main story and 100%

We’ll tell you everything you need to know about the length of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Ubisoft Bordeaux’ newest entry to the series on consoles and PC.

Update:
Assassin's Creed Mirage

Forget about 100 hours: Assassin’s Creed Mirage is not like Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla. The new Ubisoft Bordeaux production opts for a playable structure like the ones before those, more compact and without RPG elements, so its open world is also much more contained. All of this means that the adventure can be completed faster, depending on how much of a completionist players want to be.

For the MeriStation review, we followed the main story, but we also tried to find secrets and fulfill secondary objectives, although in a more or less superficial way. That playthrough lasted a total of 18 hours, although if you focus on the story you can complete it in just over 10 hours. What if you are one of those who tries to achieve everything? In that case, you’ll probably need around 25 hours.

Where is Assassin’s Creed Mirage set in the chronology?

The chronology of the series indicates that Basim’s journey begins in 861 AD, in the 9th century. Regarding other games in the series, This story takes place only 12 years before Valhalla, logical considering that the protagonist is one of the characters that makes an appearance in the viking title.

In the time of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the Hidden Ones and the Ancients had already been fighting for centuries but had not yet adopted their more modern names, Assassins and Templars, respectively. The Brotherhood was founded by Bayek of Siwa and Aya in the 1st century BC (Assassin’s Creed Origins). Before, in classical Greece of the 5th century BC, their predecessor Kassandra (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey) faced the Hidden Ones.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. You can read MeriStation’s review here.
