Update:
Vengadores Endgame quinto aniversario cinco años del estreno historia cine superhéroes Marvel

April 26, 2019, the day that superhero movies saw the largest event in the history of the genre. No less than 5 years have passed since the premiere of ‘Avengers: Endgame’, a film that was a turning point in the MCU and laid the foundations for its Phase 4. If you haven’t seen it, we recommend that you stop reading and go do that immediately.

‘Avengers: Endgame’, the true turning point of the MCU

The Russo brothers’ movie marked the meeting of many of the legendary characters we had grown to see and love in Marvel movies. Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, and Spider-Man are just some of the leading faces that led the definitive battle against Thanos. “Avengers, assemble!” Captain America shouted as he began a charge for history.

The production’s revenue data was unrivaled. In only 24 hours, it managed to raise over 158 million dollars in the United States alone. Its first global weekend was truly crazy: more than 1.2 billion dollars on the plate, enough to defeat other historical colossi of the box office. Three months later the obvious was confirmed: It surpassed ‘Avatar’ as the highest-grossing film in history.

And in its 181 minutes, there was no lack of emotion and awe. Although good eventually triumphed over evil, along the way it took the two true leaders of the Avengers. Robert Downey Jr. said goodbye to his role as Tony Stark with one of the most impactful scenes in the MCU. But where many lost their cool was with the farewell of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, revealing one final trip to the past that closed off his character’s journey in a spectacularly heartfelt manner.

From there came ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ and the complete Phase 4 grid, where Disney+ television format productions fully entered. Anyone who wants to relive it will be able to do so as part said service subscription
