BlizzCon 2023

BlizzCon 2023: everything you need to know about the event

Blizzard’s convention is back at the Anaheim Convention Center. Here’s everything you need to know just hours before the event.

It has been four years since Blizzard last hosted BlizzCon in person, and we are ready to return. This November 3rd and 4th, the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California will once again be the home of Humans, Orcs, Elves, Gnomes, Zergs, Protoss, Angels, Demons, Heroes, and other factions and species from Blizzard games, all living together as one family for two days. Leading up to the event, we are reviewing all of the known details about BlizzCon 2023.

BlizzCon 2023: The Venue

As has become tradition, the convention will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center, with a few changes from previous years. Each of its halls will be transformed into a designated area for each of this year’s games, in an effort to create a more interesting and immersive experience for attendees. From photo opportunities, themed locations, meet the developers and more, each location showcases a bit of the experimentation the company will be doing this year.

For example, the worlds of Warcraft (WoW, Hearthstone, and Warcraft Rumble), Overwatch (Overwatch 2 and Overwatch World Cup), and Diablo IV will have more space, while the conferences will be held in the BlizzCon Arena.

Community Night and Closing Ceremony

Another big change to this year’s BlizzCon is Community Night, which will be the closing ceremony of the event. A talent show where fans give it their all, but it is the amazing cosplay runway that is the main show.

Finally, the collaboration between Overwatch 2 and the K-Pop band LE SSERAFIM will make the leap to real life, as the band will close out this year’s festivities with their performance.
