Call of Duty Black Ops 7 will not increase in price and will not have a version for Nintendo Switch 2 at launch, according to an insider
Billbil-kun leaks that the release date will be November 14.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will not be the first Xbox video game to hit the market at a price of $90. Or at least that’s what insider billbil-kun, the same person who usually leaks free PlayStation Plus games, claims. As he explained in an article published on Dealabs, the standard edition will cost $69.99, while the Vault Edition will be released at a recommended price of $99.99.
When Microsoft closed the purchase of Activision Blizzard, it committed to releasing future chapters of Call of Duty on both PlayStation and Switch. The agreement signed with Sony and Nintendo guarantees new installments of the series for at least a decade, but as of today, the Switch 2 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has not been announced.

Billbil-kun himself maintains that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game is not planned for release. It is also unclear whether it is in development, so we will have to wait and see if Activision Blizzard makes any moves in this regard. When the new installment was announced, the company shared the following with Eurogamer: “We’re committed to getting the franchise on Switch. Both teams [are] working on it. Will share details when ready.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be shown at Gamescom. The game is announced for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC, although it does not yet have a confirmed release date. The insider suggests, however, that it will be released on November 14, 2025.
