‘Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc’ confirms Crunchyroll release date and arrives sooner than expected
Update:

The wait has been long, but Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc finally has a release date on Crunchyroll following its theatrical run. It had previously been announced that it would arrive this spring, but the news comes as a surprise, as it will be available starting next week.

In a post on its official blog, Crunchyroll announced that ‘Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc’ will be available on the platform on April 30. Users will be able to watch the film with subtitles or in an English-dubbed version.

What is Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc about?

“In a brutal war between devils, hunters, and secret enemies, a mysterious girl named Reze has stepped into his world, and Denji faces his deadliest battle yet, fueled by love in a world where survival knows no rules,” reads a portion of the movie’s official description.

“‘Reze Arc’ has another distinguishing feature that sets it apart from other anime films: its cinematography. It perfectly understands the medium it is in and knows that the difference between series and cinema goes far beyond the size of the screen. It has a different rhythm, a different type of narration. A different format and different forms,“ commented our colleagues in Spain in their review. ”The film pays attention to details that are not usually found in this kind of adaptation and is brimming with visual metaphors. From the typical butterfly that suddenly lands on a spider web and falls into the trap at the same time as Denji does, to the fireworks that explode at the same time as the long-awaited kiss between the protagonists. The scenery is always narrating, always showing the moods of its characters, always foreshadowing what is going to happen before it happens. In a subtle, genuine, and brilliant way.”
