An old-school Blizzard Entertainment legend is making their grand return to the Warcraft franchise in a leadership position, and fans renew their hope for the MMO’s future.
One of the most legendary figures in Blizzard Entertainment is back:.Chris Metzen returns as executive creative director of the Warcraft franchise, including World of Warcraft. After leaving the company in 2016 at just 42 years of age due to suffering panic attacks, he decided to step away from his professional career for a while and thus be able to be more with his family. Blizzard and Warcraft fans celebrate this news, with figures like streamer Asmongold praising the decision to recover Metzen as part of the Warcraft team since he was one of those in charge of creating the universe of the saga and it’s overall story and lore in the first place.
