Cillian Murphy becomes Thomas Shelby once again in first images of the ‘Peaky Blinders’ movie
The Peaky Blinders are making their way back, as the first images from the film reveal Cillian Murphy and Barry Keoghan.
After surviving World War I and the Sicilian mafia, it’s no surprise that the Shelby family’s next story takes the name ‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’. The dangers that Thomas Shelby has been able to overcome (Cillian Murphy) throughout five seasons are not available to everyone, but in the film that has already finished filming, and that will be released and Netflix, the leader of the Peaky Blinders will not be alone, as we can discover in the new image of the production.
The ‘Peaky Blinders’ movie, a direct sequel to the series that can currently be seen on Netflix will bring us into the time prior to the Second World War, in which new members will join the most dominant clan in Birmingham. One of them will be Barry Keoghan, (‘The Batman’, ‘Saltburn’), who appears alongside Murphy in this image and whose role is still unknown.
What is ‘Peaky Blinders’ about and when will it be released?
Details of the script have not yet been revealed, but everything seems to indicate that the plot of the ‘Peaky Blinders’ film will take place very shortly after the end of the series. In addition to Keoghan, other new additions are: Rebecca Ferguson (‘Dune’, ‘Mission Impossible’) and Tim Roth (‘Reservoir Dogs’, ‘Pulp Fiction’). Of course, old acquaintances of the fans also return, such as Sophie Rundle (Ada), Packy Lee (Johnny Dogs), and Stephen Graham (Hayden Stagg). With filming just completed, it is expected that the film will be released sometime in 2025, which is about to begin.
