CoD Modern Warfare 3: when does Season 1 start with upgrades to Warzone?
We’ll tell you when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′s Season 1 begins, which will bring upgrades to Warzone as well.
Call of Duty: Warzone faces the most important moment of its year. The battle royale will adopt the improvements brought by Modern Warfare 3 and will release a new map starting with the arrival of Season 1. We now know the release date: The content framework will debut on December 6 at no additional cost on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
What will change with the arrival of Season 1 of Modern Warfare 3 in CoD Warzone?
We know that Urzikstan will be the new combat setting in Call of Duty: Warzone. The map can now be played in Modern Warfare 3′s Zombies mode, a playable preview that will give you a taste of the verticality and possibilities established in the classic modes. It is made up of 11 points of interest, some taken directly from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 maps.
On the playable level, things change quite a bit. The title will adopt the gameplay style that we can already see in the competitive version of this year’s installment. This translates into greater speed, the possibility of slide-canceling, more agility when climbing, and ultimately an experience that is two gears ahead of the current version.
Ammo will be separated from your backpack inventory, and equipping a gas mask will become an action that you must activate manually. Perks like Ghost, on the other hand, will only work when you are moving. You can know all the details by clicking here.
The arrival of the map will not eliminate the presence of other scenarios already available in the free to play game. Season 1 will begin with a rotation of three maps: Urzikstan, Ashika Island, and Vondel. Al-Mazrah, the initial battlefield of the 2022 installment, says goodbye... at least for now.
