Converse x Dragon Ball Z collection is now available, featuring Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and more
The new collaboration includes Chuck Taylor sneakers, apparel, and designs inspired by some of the anime’s most iconic characters.
Very soon, you’ll be able to bring the power of Dragon Ball to... the soles of your feet. Converse has announced a new collaboration with Dragon Ball Z, which is now available throughout the United States.
This collaboration features not only sneakers but also clothing. But let’s face it—it’s the sneakers that really catch your eye. And while there are some sneakers featuring Majin Buu, Frieza, and Gohan, to name a few, the real gems are the six special sneakers that incorporate iconic elements from the characters into their designs.
Among them are a total of six characters, including Goku, Vegeta, Cell, and Frieza, each featuring their most iconic details on the classic Chuck Taylor All Star models. In addition, there’s a model dedicated to Shenron, which comes in a larger style as a Chuck 70. Finally, for the little ones, there’s a model inspired by Goten and Trunks, available only in kids’ sizes (though as of this writing, they’re already sold out). It’s also worth mentioning that the kids’ sizes include other models featuring characters like Krillin and Piccolo.
Each shoe comes with the Dragon Ball Z logo on the back heel, leather upper with Shenron graphics and a cobranded sockliner. There are also iconic shoelace charms included with the Goku and Vegeta pairs for extra flare.
