The producer of the Creed series, Irwin Winkler, has confirmed that Michael B. Jordan and him are already working on a fourth entry for the Rocky spinoff series.

‘Creed 4′, which will be the fourth part of the boxing saga based on ‘Rocky’ and starring Michael B. Jordan, is now underway. This has been confirmed by the producer of the franchise Irwin Winkler, ensuring that the actor will also get behind the cameras again for the fourth part, just as he did with the third. This was reported by Deadline after interviewing the executive, who has assured that the Adonis Creed franchise will continue: “We are planning to do Creed IV right now,” he assured.

Michael B. Jordan will be the director of ‘Creed 4′

Thus, the actor -and also filmmaker- Michael B. Jordan will once again sit in the director’s chair, in addition to starring in the new installment of his saga: “He did such a great job — he was comfortable with the camera,” assured the producer. Of course, fans will still have to wait a reasonable amount of time, since the project will not enter the pre-production phase until “about a year from now.” Furthermore, he assures that they have “a very good story and a really good plot,” concludes the producer of ‘Creed’.

Let us remember that the first part of ‘Creed’, the saga born from the ‘Rocky’ franchise of Sylvester Stallone, managed to amass more than 170 million dollars, in 2015. The most recent third installment, for its part, exceeded the 270 million dollars at the beginning of this year. In ‘Creed’, Michael B. Jordan plays Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo Creed, one of the biggest rivals and friends of Rocky. On the other hand, Sylvester Stallone appeared in the first two ‘Creed’ films, but not in the third, which was directed by Michael B. Jordan.

Beyond this fourth part of ‘Creed’, Michael B. Jordan has other projects ahead such as an adaptation of the Rainbow Six franchise and the sequel to ‘I am legend’ alongside Will Smith.
