Daniel Craig reacts to the new direction of 007 and the farewell of his mythical creators: “My respect”
The previous James Bond of the saga breaks his silence and takes a stand in favor of the producers fired by Amazon.

Few can explain the real reason Amazon has removed the legendary producers of the 007 saga from the creative helm. The Broccoli family is saying goodbye to more than 50 years of leadership and stages full of success. ‘No Time to Die’ was their last portrayal of James Bond on the big screen, just like Daniel Craig. The renowned actor said goodbye to the role in a movie that closed his story arc. Months later, he broke his silence to speak out on behalf of the producers against Amazon’s decision.
Daniel Craig has come out in support of 007’s former producers
“My respect, admiration and love for Barbara and Michael remain constant and undiminished,” Craig said in a statement picked up by Variety. “I wish Michael a long, relaxing (and well deserved) retirement and whatever ventures Barbara goes on to do, I know they will be spectacular and I hope I can be part of them.”
The movie industry is still reeling from a historic move. Amazon MGM Studios has taken its position on the 007 brand a step further, removing Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli from the creative helm, which is now solely owned by Prime Video. The aforementioned are not completely removed from the IP, as they remain co-owners of the brand. What they do on the big screen, however, will be up to others.

Under the Broccoli’s mandate, rumors suggested that Aaron Taylor-Johnson was the one chosen to take over the character. The actor played a game of misdirection on every question, an agreement that may remain a dead letter with the arrival of the new guests.
New times are coming for 007.
