Dead Island 2 shares a release date for its first story DLC: Haus
Deep Silver has just announced Haus, Dead Island 2′s first story DLC. Here’s when it’s released, what it’s about, and more info.
Dead Island 2 will soon receive its first story DLC. Titled Haus, this expansion of the story promises to follow up on what has already been seen in the base game, whose ending was left open. Below we tell you everything we know so far about the the Dead Island 2 DLC, including when it comes out, and what it is about:
This is Haus, the first story DLC for Dead Island 2
Deep Silver has announced Haus, which is the first story DLC for Dead Island 2, which will be available from Thursday, November 2, 2023.
The company did not give more details about the plot, although we can deduce a bit of the context from the promotional art they have shared and from its name. “Haus” is “house” in German, and “Konradt” happens to be a very common German surname. It could be that in Haus, the search for answers about the Numen will be delved deeper into, and we might deal with Lola Konradt and her followers.
From what we can see in the screenshots that accompany this text, in Haus we will visit new areas such as luxury mansions occupied by a mysterious cult that worships zombies and there will be new weapons like an explosive crossbow.
The Haus DLC adds new types of enemies and at least three new areas: Haus, Cul de Sac and Long Piglet’s.

What platforms is Dead Island 2 available on?
Dead Island 2 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (exclusively in the Epic Games Store) since April 21, 2023.
Dead Island 2 suffered multiple delays and changes during development. Its creative director shared in an IGN interview What have been several of the problems that the developers have faced when creating the game.
