‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ ads give us a closer look at the character’s (and the actors’s) love-hate relationship

Marvel Studios is no stranger to doing promotional advertisements with other brands coinciding with the premiere of its new films, such as, for example, Spider-Man and Hyundai on the occasion of the premiere of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. And beyond the advertisement itself, these collaborations are ideal for seeing their protagonists in action beyond the film at hand. Now, with the release of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ getting closer and closer, comes a new ad in collaboration with Heineken, with both characters giving free rein to their peculiar love-hate relationship.

A small pause in the middle of the multiverse

In what seems like one of the fights in which Deadpool and Wolverine will face each other in the upcoming MCU multiverse movie, the Merc with a Mouth wants both of them to take a small break between swords, shots, and adamantium cuts. That is why Deadpool, with his characteristic sense of humor, invites Wolverine for a drink, just to get a little bit closer to his “Best Bub”.

A witty video that lets us see new footage of both characters exclusive to this ad, although with their official suits and starring in some very funny scenes. Both actors also released a new teaser, which you can see below, in which they notify fans that tickets for the movie are now on sale, always maintaining the same humorous tone that they will exploit in their next film.

This time, when Hugh Jackman proposes to Ryan Reynolds that they go to the movies together to see their film with the two tickets in the envelope, the actor who plays Deadpool remembers some of the outrages that Wolverine does to him in the movie, so he doesn’t seem very enthusiastic...
