‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ brings out the claws, guns, and Madonna songs in new trailer

‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ is probably the most anticipated superhero film we’ve had for a long time. After years of commotion due to the acquisition of its original studio, in which fans wondered if the character was even compatible with the rest of the Marvel Studios’ heroes, Ryan Reynold’s Merc with a Mouth is finally set to come to the big screen for an epic third Deadpool movie. And if that wasn’t enough, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is coming too, with the gift of chaos, violence, action and ridiculousness all to the tune of ‘Like a Prayer’ by Madonna.

Reynolds and Marvel teased the new trailer during the weekend, one much larger than the Super Bowl teaser we got a few months ago. For a few minutes we are shown Deadpool and Wolverine in action, with the former entering a bar and trying to convince the character played by Jackman to accompany him. The meeting ends in a confrontation, with Deadpool asking for help, and there are several scenes that intersect throughout the more than two minutes of the trailer, even showing off Cassandra Nova, seemingly the main villain of the film among all the chaos that arises around the two protagonists.

Action, blood, explosions, and everything you can imagine is going to be in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, with two of the most popular actors of our time. A legend like Hugh Jackman aims to close his cycle as Wolverine in a big way, in which he has seen a growth in the Marvel phenomenon throughout his career that he would not have imagined when the first ‘X-Men’ film was released in the year 2000.

Now we just have to wait and enjoy these previews that they are offering us of what will be one of the most spectacular films of the year. ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ arrives in theaters on July 26, 2024.
