Death Stranding 2 announces release date, resurrects Solid Snake and makes it impossible not to love Kojima
It will be the big PlayStation bomb this summer.
There is not a single person in the industry (or in Hollywood) who makes trailers like Hideo Kojima. Not a single one. The developer has proven it once again with the new trailer for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach that you have below these lines. It is his quintessence. It has everything that makes us fall in love with him. An exquisite musical taste, a good handful of faces taken from the world of cinema, dream scenarios, bosses and creatures of the most mysterious, playable promises, dialogues everywhere and dozens of nonsense things that we had not seen in life. Not to mention the best part, the release date of the game, which will arrive on June 26, 2025, exclusively for PlayStation 5.
It’s so over the top that it even allows itself a very clear reference to Snake and the Metal Gear Solid saga (Rex included). In case Konami forgot. “I took the opportunity to introduce some new characters and drop a lot of hints about the story and gameplay. Watch it many times,” said the developer.
