Diablo IV: Blizzard will release a big patch to appease fans disgusted by the situation

Blizzard is taking a step back after the release of Diablo IV’s latest patch due to player backlash, with plans to fix these problems immediately put in motion.

Diablo 4 comunidad enfurece monedas platino pase temporada 1

It’s been a tough time for fans of the series since the release of Diablo IV, what with the huge changes to gameplay, nerfing of character classes, and the arrival of a less than ideal Season Pass. And they’ve made themselves heard, especially after the release of Patch 1.1.0. So much so, that their negative feedback to the latest patch has made Blizzard themselves flinch, and they’ve now promised the release of a new patch to appease the fans.

The news was revealed by Global Community Development Director of Diablo, Adam Fletcher, through a tweet he posted on his personal account. According to him, the devs are already working on “some hotfxes & a small client patch that will be hitting this week to address some bug issues.” However, it was also revealed that there are changes coming to both Sorcerer and Barbarian, which were two of the most heavily affected classes after the last patch.

A livestream will be held today on their usual channels to discuss everything that will be included in the upcoming Patch 1.1.1, which is expected to bring balancing to the game and address the concerns of players looking to remain in the game long-term.

Diablo IV Patch 1.1.0 was not well received by fans

Released just last week, Patch 1.1.0 was supposed to set the stage for the first Season of the game: Season of the Malignant. It was to do so by rebalancing the game’s system, bringing new unique items and making big changes to the game.

However, this did not go down as planned, with the class meta completely destroyed and more nerfs than buffs making players feel like the devs want them to be weak in a effort to lengthen their play time. What they did do was add plenty of new Unique Items and Legendary Aspects, but given that they’re so rare users have argued that they might as well not have been added, as only a very small number of lucky characters will ever get them.

We’ll have to hope that this new patch on the way will begin to change things for the better, as in its current state, Diablo IV is not in good standing with its own community.
