Dune Part 2 already has a date to buy or rent on stream to watch at home

Watching Dune Part 2 at home is getting closer with the announcement of upcoming physical and digital home entertainment formats from Warner Bros.

Dune Part 2 will be coming to our homes soon. Director Denis Villeneuve’s latest film has been a hit, and people have been asking when it will be available on streaming formats. And while its arrival is still some time away, Warner Bros. has announced when we can watch it in the comfort of our own homes (and pause it to go to the bathroom without missing a minute of the movie).

Dune Part 2 now has a home entertainment release date

Warner Bros. has announced that we will be able to enjoy Dune Part 2 at home starting this month. The first option will arrive in digital formats, both for purchase and rental on April 16. We can have digital ownership for $29.99 or the option to rent it for 48 hours via PVOD for $24.99. This option will be available through services such as Apple TV, Apple Play, Prime Video, Fandango at Home, and others.

On the other hand, for those who love the physical format, Dune Part 2 will be released in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on May 14. We will surely remind you later. With this information, the special features of the 4K UHD and Blu-ray versions were also revealed:

Dune Part 2, a blockbuster at the box office

Dune: Part 2 was released in theaters around the world on Friday, March 1, 2024. It’s undoubtedly become a smash hit at the box office, with critics praising its cinematography and even comparing it to Lord of the Rings. Warner Bros. recently updated the film’s earnings, stating that it is the highest-grossing film of 2024 so far, with a worldwide box office of $665 million. Obviously, Dune Part 3 is now officially in development, and although there is no release date yet, we do know which book of the saga it will adapt.
