EA Sports FC: all licenses confirmed so far

We share the first competitions that have confirmed their appearance in the next football franchise from the creators of FIFA.

EA Sports FC is starting to warm up its engines for its big reveal next July. The franchise will take over the baton of the FIFA license that has accompanied football fans for more than two decades. We have already seen its logo walking around the main European leagues and its arrival is imminent.

The first competitions that will remain in the game have already been revealed in detail. As we predicted a few months ago, the licensing portfolio remains tied to EA Sports, who were responsible for the FIFA franchise and will now go it alone after forfeiting the renewal of the license. The list below is the only one confirmed so far; there will be many more as we get closer to the big reveal. Just don’t expect any World Cup-related content.

Recently, our colleagues in Spain were able to interview David Jackson, vice president of brand at EA Sports, who told them that “people expect the leagues, teams and licenses they know and love, to find what they have had in the past and take it to the future; on the other hand, innovation is key because we cannot stand still, the community wants new experiences”.
