Elon Musk announces his own film adaptation of ‘The Odyssey’ for this year: “It will be true to the art of Homer”

The owner of the social media platform X has criticized Christopher Nolan on numerous occasions.

Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ premiered in theaters around the world last week. Elon Musk, owner of X, Tesla, and SpaceX, had been attacking the film’s director for months, criticizing the cast, and sharing memes mocking some of the actors and actresses. Now he has decided to take it a step further, as he has confirmed that he will make his own version of ‘The Odyssey’ later this year.

After watching a video created by a user on the social network, Elon Musk didn’t hesitate to repost it and announce that his film ‘The Odyssey’ will be created using Grok, X’s artificial intelligence. Of course, he couldn’t resist taking another jab at Nolan, claiming that the film will be “ historically accurate and true to the art of Homer,” the author of the original poem.

‘The Odyssey’ (the film by Christopher Nolan) tells the story of Odysseus’s journey back to Ithaca following the siege of Troy. It’s a true epic in which he must face all kinds of obstacles: hunger, thirst, the weather… and the Greek gods (Poseidon, Zeus…), who have no intention of making things easy for him. Its release has been a huge success, grossing over $300 million in its first few days, while garnering very positive reviews and leading audiences to believe that Nolan will take home more than one Oscar at the next Academy Awards ceremony, to be held in 2027.
