Every Starfield review score: is it really Bethesda and Xbox’s best game yet?
With Starfield reviews hitting the internet, it’s time to take a look at what the global press thinks of Bethesda and Xbox’s big new RPG.
It was supposed to reinvent a genre. It was going to mark a before and after for Xbox exclusives. It was going to do a lot of things, but according to the MeriStation review, Bethesda’s new IP didn’t manage to have the take-off it wanted. Starfield has not ended up being what we expected, but... what does the rest of the international press think?
In general, and although it seemed like a clear GOTY contender, with Starfield there has not been the consensus and unanimity that we did see with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and more recently with Baldur’s Gate 3. While some love it and others not so much, the generic and repetitive of its exploration, its missions, and its moments at the controls of a ship have been echoed as the reasons why this title might end up out of the race, but still, critics insist that it is a game that must be played, calling it one of the best RPGs and first party Xbox releases in the last decade.
