Everything you need to know about Rocket League Season 12

Season 12 of Rocket League is just around the corner, and developer Psyonix has chosen to show off what’s coming during the new season.

Update:
Everything you need to know about Rocket League Season 12

The ending of summer is rapidly approaching, and while out in the open it means the arrival of cooler days, changing vegetation, and cozy vibes, in the world of video games it is mirrored by the beginning of new seasons all around. And Rocket League is no exception, with the rocket powered car soccer bringing the start of Season 12, full of new items, arenas, and cars to jump into matches with.

Developer Psyonix has been dropping hints about what the new season entails, but now we know exactly when and what to expect Season 12. Below you’ll find everything you need to know.

When does Rocket League Season 12 start?

The new Rocket League season starts today, September 6, 2023. As of this moment, an update should have already been made available for players to download, regardless of your platform of choice or region. The official start times are as follow:

  • 8:00 AM PST
  • 10:00 AM CST
  • 11:00 AM EST
  • 4:00 PM BST (UK)

Of course, there’s always a possibility that you won’t be able to access the game for a while, as an influx of many players might make the servers go down. This is a very common occurrence with every big update, and sadly there’s not much you can do if such is the case but relax for a while before the servers are back up.

What to expect from Season 12?

Psyonix released an official teaser trailer for the new season, showcasing a new vehicle coming to the game: the Porsche 911 Turbo. This legendary car forms part of the celebration of Porsche’s 75th anniversary, and comes to the game with a Dominus hitbox as the “hero” car of the season. You’ll be able to unlock it by playing it, but if you get the Rocket Pass Premium you can get it immediately.

There’s also a new Arena Variant on the way, Neo Tokyo (Hacked), and as the season will be active during the Halloween celebrations you can expect related events with their own rewards and cosmetics.
