February State of Play announced: date, time and possible new games for PS5
PlayStation comes out in the face of rumors and confirms a new event for which sounds, among other things, the release date of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

They say that when the river is full... We had been several weeks with incessant rumors about Sony had prepared an event for February and so it was: PlayStation has just announced a new State of Play for February 12th. The presentation will last “over 40 minutes” and will focus on “a creative and unique selection of exciting games from studios around the world.” There’s a lot to look forward to, as we’re all burning with anticipation for the PS5 roadmap in 2025, and it sounds like the possibility of Hideo Kojima giving us a trailer and the release date of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, one of the most anticipated games of the year. Will it be the time to see the Bloodborne remaster?
When is the State of Play?
The State of Play will be held on February 12th at 5:00 pm ET. Below is the schedule for the United States.
- 5:00 pm ET
- 4:00 pm CT
- 2:00 pm PT
Possible games at State of Play
Aside from the aforementioned - and obvious - Death Stranding 2, everyone is thinking about a Bloodborne remake or remaster, as Sony’s move to kill off fan projects has not gone unnoticed by From Software acolytes. If anything, the announcement of a new Resident Evil, either the ninth installment or a remake as rumored to be Resident Evil CODE: Veronica, wouldn’t be a bad thing either.
Another name that disappeared some time ago and that we always look forward to seeing is Little Devil Inside, a very strange adventure that was announced a few years ago in a similar event. Whether they come out or not, there are sure to be many surprises and we are living in a magical moment. Will you miss it? Remember that MeriStation will tell you everything live.
