The first official poster did not show his full face, but everyone recognized Paul Mescal, the actor who will play Lucius. But the most awaited moment was today, the day when the first trailer of ‘Gladiator 2′ would finally arrive. Said and done, because it has already been released and you can see it just below these lines.

‘Gladiator 2′ will be released worldwide on November 15, 2024 (it was originally scheduled for November 22, but the release date was moved up). Like the original film, which was released nearly 25 years ago, the long-awaited sequel features Ridley Scott at the helm and an all-star cast: Paul Mescal as Lucius, Pedro Pascal as Acacius, Denzel Washington as Macrinus, Connie Nielsen as Lucilla, and Fred Hechinger as Caracalla, among others.

Where to watch ‘Gladiator’ (2000)

The movie starring Russell Crowe is a myth, and while the sequel is coming, it’s never a bad time to revisit it. You can currently watch it on Prime Video and Paramount+. “In the year 180, the Roman Empire dominates the entire known world. After a great victory over the northern barbarians, the aging Emperor Marcus Aurelius decides to transfer power to Maximus, the brave general of his armies and a man of unwavering loyalty to the Empire. However, his son Commodus, who is in line for the throne, does not accept and attempts to assassinate Maximus,” the synopsis reads.
