Ridley Scott’s top 10 movies from best to worst according to IMDb and where to watch them online

Ridley Scott is one of a kind. Very few directors can match what he has achieved with his films. On the one hand, for his ability to create different spaces and worlds with a perfection worthy of admiration. On the other hand, for his ability to create different spaces and worlds with a perfection worthy of admiration, with a definition of characters down to the millimeter that reflect each and every one of the emotions and feelings that everyone can experience in his or her life: Love, revenge, fear, anger or fear...

This ability can only be proven by immersing yourself in his films. Of proven quality and popularity, Scott is also known for being an all-rounder. Blade Runner was released in the U.S. and Canada on June 25, 1982, and although the North American box office was significant with $6.15 million on the first weekend, it gradually fell below the director’s initial expectations. The competition with E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial had a big influence.

Kingdom of Heaven

  • Platform: Starz
  • Year: 2008
  • Length: 2h 24m
  • IMDB Score: 7.2

This story, which took us back to the Crusades of the 12th century, starred Orlando Bloom, Eva Green, Liam Neeson, and Edward Norton in a role that was mysterious until its release on video. As always, a movie with a lot of detail, although the version we saw in theaters was not to the liking of its director, who considers the director’s cut as the definitive version.

Body of Lies

  • Platform: Max
  • Year: 2008
  • Length: 2h 8m
  • IMDB Score: 7.1

We leave you with two anecdotes that you may not know. The first is that the explosion of a key scene is not a digital effect, but was completely real. Of course, in a controlled and safe way by means of a pyrotechnic explosion. One of the actors, Leonardo DiCaprio, started wearing brown contact lenses and dyed his hair black for the role.
