First trailer for Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, the new Netflix series set in Hawkins
The story is set in 1985, between the second and third seasons of ‘Stranger Things’.
It’s official: Stranger Things is here to stay. Because even though we’re just days away from the end of the story of Eleven, Mike, Will, and company (the first episodes of Stranger Things 5 premiere on November 26), in 2026 we’ll have a new spin-off series set in Hawkins, Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, and right below these lines you can see its spectacular first trailer.
Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 is set in Hawkins and tells “the adventures of the townspeople in the Upside Down.” The story takes place between seasons 2 and 3 of the main series. In the trailer, we see several of the main characters and the appearance of several new monsters, including a giant carnivorous plant. The exact release date has not been specified, other than that it will arrive in 2026.
But first, let’s enjoy the finale of Stranger Things
Before welcoming 2026 and starting to think about Tales of ’85, we can’t forget about season 5 of Stranger Things, as it will be the last. It’s such a special moment that its creators have decided to release it in three different parts. Here are the release dates for all the episodes.
- Part 1 - November 26, 2025: episodes 1, 2, 3, and 4
- Part 2 - December 25, 2025: episodes 5 and 6
- Part 3 - December 31, 2025: episode 7 (finale)
