Fortnite releases new Lawless teaser: the game’s new season will take us to a chaotic, crime-ridden city

The arrival of the new Fortnite season is fast approaching, and Epic Games continues to fuel the community’s excitement with new teasers. After the first teaser of Lawless, the Chapter 6 Season 2, the company has shared a new image that continues to delve into the theme of crime and urban chaos that will define this stage of the battle royale.

New Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless teaser reinforces season’s decadent aesthetic

On Thursday, February 13, 2025, the official Fortnite account on X revealed a new teaser for the upcoming season. The image shows a welcome sign that originally read “Welcome to Crimson City,” but has been vandalized with graffiti that changes its name to “Crime City.” The scene conveys a sense of decay and lawlessness as the sign is damaged, vandalized, and riddled with bullet holes.

This “Crime City” or “Crimson City” will be the same city that we could already see in the first teaser of the season, and will be one of the main protagonists of the new map. This new teaser reinforces the theory that the new season of Fortnite will be characterized by crime, vandalism, and street gangs.

While Epic Games has not revealed any specific details about the gameplay of the new season, the concept of Lawless and the elements presented so far could point to the inclusion of new mechanics such as heists or vehicle thefts. Previous leaks have already hinted at the possibility of heists using specialized tools such as power drills, which would fit perfectly with the theme that Epic Games is building.

With the premiere scheduled for February 21, Epic Games is sure to continue releasing previews that will give more insight into what’s new in Season 2.
