Fortnite Super Showdown Event: Date, times, and how to watch live

Fortnite is preparing to bid farewell to Super, Season 3 of Chapter 6. As usual, Epic Games has prepared a final event in which players can participate and witness firsthand how the narrative of the game’s sixth chapter evolves. Super Showdown is the name of the event in question, and in this news article, we give you all the details, including the date, times, and how to watch it live.

When does the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 finale event start, and what do you need to do to watch it in-game?

The Fortnite Super Showdown event takes place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 2:30 PM ET. This date and time corresponds to the following US time zones:

  • 2:30 PM ET
  • 1:30 PM CT
  • 11:30 AM PT

According to the teaser posted by Fortnite’s various official social media accounts, the event will take place in Demon’s Domain, one of this season’s new locations, where a demonic Daigo has emerged and threatens to engulf the rest of the island with his Spire.

According to Epic Games, the event doors will open half an hour before it starts, which means that thirty minutes before it begins, it will be possible to enter a game. It is best to heed this warning and enter as soon as possible to avoid potential problems with crashes or disconnections that could cause us to miss the event.

As usual, the estimated duration of the event is around fifteen minutes. Remember that this event will not be repeated, so if we can’t log in on time, we’ll miss it and will only be able to watch it later via videos instead of enjoying it in-game. The season ends on Thursday, August 7, so there will be no downtime after the event, and it will be possible to continue playing Fortnite until the next patch arrives.

What will happen during Fortnite’s Super Showdown event?

Chapter 6 Season 3, called Super, focuses on a new generation of superheroes who have been born on the island. With the support of DC’s Superman and Robin, these new heroes must stand up to Daigo, who has returned from Demon’s Domain with new powers and a renewed ambition to consume the island and seize the Zero Point fragment that fell on it at the beginning of the Chapter.

For now, little is known about the event itself except what was shown in the teaser and what we can assume based on previous events. The superheroes will fight Daigo to rid the island of his threat, but this arduous battle will cause some kind of cataclysm that, in turn, will serve as a preview of what is to come during the next season. Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but insiders suggest that after Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, there could be a new month-long mini-season focused on ‘The Simpsons.’

In short, through events of this kind, Epic Games continues to keep interest in Fortnite alive. It is true that the game’s narrative is not as relevant as it once was, but its creators continue to hold live events that allow players to engage directly with it, which is one of the hallmarks of the popular battle royale.
