The popular and weird internet series Skibidi Toilet will arrive in the equally popular battle royale
Fortnite has been filled with all sorts of collaborations, but this one is undoubtedly the strangest of them all. Following rumors this morning, it has been confirmed that the Skibidi Toilet web series will be coming to Fortnite this week.
The Skibidi toilet is coming to Fortnite
Epic Games has confirmed initial rumors this morning, in which leaker SpushFNBR reported on X that an outfit for “Plugerman” with a Lego-style Skibidi Blackbing, a separate Skibidi Toilet Blackbing, and a Plungerman Plunger Pickaxe will all be coming to Fortnite.
Shortly thereafter, Epic Games released a post on its X account, in which, with just a few very representative emoji of Skibidi Toilet, a toilet, a plunger, and a camcorder, it has indicated the date of tomorrow, “12.18.2024”.
Skibidi Toilet is a series of YouTube shorts that have been published on the DaFuq!?Boom! channel since February 2023. However, they only went viral a few months later, both on YouTube itself and on TikTok. There are several reasons for this: the absurdity of the proposal, -Skibidi Toilet tells the story of a war starring toilets with heads coming out of them-, the unexpected depth, and the surrealism without limits.
What will the design of the Skibidi toilet look like in Fortnite?
The popular series of videos are created using Source Filmmaker, a program developed by Valve that uses the Source Engine to create 3D animated shorts. It is worth remembering that this program uses assets from Valve video games, such as Half-Life 2, so taking these assets directly could cause some kind of copyright issues. It is worth remembering that a few months ago Garry Newman, the creator of the extremely popular game Garry’s Mod, was apparently hit with a DMCA notice from dafuqboom, the creator of Skibidi Toilet, for using “his” assets in Garry’s Mod. While this was a mistake by a third party, it makes us think that the design will have to change drastically, perhaps using the elements of Fortnite as the basis of these assets.
