Turn 10
Forza Motorsport kisses the road in a new gameplay trailer with a release date
Turn 10 Studios tests the capabilities of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S through the most simulative side of Microsoft’s car franchise.
The engines are roaring and the wheels are spinning with sparks; one hand on the wheel and the other on the shifter. 3, 2, 1, the race is on! Forza Motorsport is back with a new mainline title. After Forza Horizon 5, the time has come to return to the origins, to the more simulator side of the series. The studio has been working for some time on this new edition, which is a kind of reboot, at least in the name (no number). During the Xbox Games Showcase, Phil Spencer’s team presented a new gameplay trailer that demonstrates the graphical potential of the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. In addition, they also announced the release date: it will be released on October 10.
Last January, Forza Motorsport made an appearance at the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase. According to the studio, this installment will reach a major milestone, as they believe it will make a true generational leap. The studio then said that the cars “drive better” than ever, since they have been able to take advantage of the “advances” that have been implemented in the “physics simulator”. Turn 10p is very confident in this regard and is convinced that this system is better than the previous three installments combined.
More than 500 cars, improved AI, and advanced physics. These are some of the pillars on which this new Forza Motorsport is built, harnessing the power of the latest systems.
More Forza Motorsport Improvements
Materials and shaders have been redesigned from the ground up using ray-tracing technology: “From highly detailed vegetation and growing clusters to hundreds of animated 3D spectators. Also making its debut in this highly anticipated installment is dynamic weather and time cycles.
Forza Motorsport will be available on Xbox X, Xbox S, and PC.
