Gal Gadot reveals she’s working on Wonder Woman 3 alongside James Gunn
The new era of the DC Universe will keep Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, with her already working on the third movie with the studio’s heads.
After the restructuring of DC Studios with James Gunn and Peter Safran leading a new era for the DC universe, at this point no one in their right mind would have bet on having good news about Wonder Woman 3. The film was canceled after statements by Patty Jenkins, who explained that there was nothing she could do to move the project forward.
For this reason, today is a day that Diana Prince fans should celebrate, because Gal Gadot, the actress who plays the character, has confirmed that the film will become a reality, according to her words to ComicBook (via Collider). No details about the film have been revealed, but the Israeli actress could not have been more direct when it came to confirming the film: “From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we’re gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together.″
After the long series of changes made by Peter Safran and James Gunn, the truth is that Gal Gadot’s future as Diana Prince had been left up in the air, so in the absence of knowing what the next Wonder Woman movie will be like, what is truly important is the confirmation that we will have Gal Gadot onboard for a while.
