Nvidia
GeForce RTX 4070 Super, the best 1440p gaming graphics card for the money
A GPU for 1440p gaming at around 120fps and also capable of 4K gaming at over 60fps.
We have analyzed the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, a graphics card that was recently presented last CES 2024 and we could not wait any longer to get our hands on this GPU that seeks to have a good balance between cost-FPS. Below we show you the results of the tests we carried out in 54 video games.
All the power of DLSS 3
On paper, this piece of hardware promises to be more efficient than the previous generation and tries to take advantage of all the goodness of the latest version of Deep Learning Super Sampling. To push it to the limit, we tested it with the following configuration.
GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER specifications:
Installation
This GPU is exactly the same size as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (244mm x 112mm) and only takes up 2 chassis slots, making installation easy. As with the Series 40 cards, a power adapter is included. This time we used a 1000W Corsair WM1000x.
Parameters
Unlike the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti on this occasion we wanted to test almost all games with the highest visuals at 1440p using DLSS in quality mode (the latest version available) and even activating the frame generation to see the maximum performance it can achieve in the recommended resolution for this card. We also tested a couple of games in 4K, which will be noted in the tables.
All titles were played for at least 30 minutes, sampling in the same parts as with the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.
