Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is bringing PlayStation Trophies to PC
The PC version of Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima is bringing all sorts of upgrades and new features, including a new PlayStation interface and Trophies.
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will make the leap to PC on May 16, 2024, and it will do so with a surprise that might delight PlayStation fans. The game will be the first exclusive from Sony that will have trophies on PC, while also debuting a new interface that will allow you to connect with your PS4 and PS5 account and its corresponding settings, friends lists, and profiles. The feature will be available for Windows PCs and to access it you just have to press “Shift + F1″.
However, these won’t be the only new features for Ghost of Tsushima on PC. The game has also been optimized for ultrawide monitors and will allow 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9 resolutions as well as triple-screen configurations. Furthermore, it is possible to increase the frame rate thanks to NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FGSR 3, or Intel XeSS, and image quality can be improved through NVIDIA DLAA or AMD FSR Native AA. And of course, this version will be compatible with the Dualsense controllers, allowing you to take advantage of its haptic technology and adaptive triggers.
Will Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC have crossplay?
Nixxes Software, the developer of the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut version for PC, has confirmed the game will include crossplay between PS4, PS5, and PC for the Legends cooperative mode, an online experience inspired by Japanese mythology. Players on all three platforms will be able to make teams of up to 4 people and communicate via voice chat without problems. In addition to Legends mode, the Director’s Cut includes all the extras from the original edition and the Iki Island expansion.
